Strong For Life: Why Resistance Training is the Ultimate Lifetime Asset

For a long time, lifting weights was viewed as a niche hobby—something reserved for bodybuilders or elite athletes. But a mountain of long-term medical data tells a completely different story. A 30-year study published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine found that just 90 to 120 minutes of strength training per week reduces the risk of all-cause mortality by 13%, cutting the risk of cardiovascular death by 19% and neurological death (like dementia) by a staggering 27%.
